. an exclusive cbs 5 surveyusa poll of adults in california shows that 48% believe romney won compared with 34% for president obama. 18% felt there was no clear winner. last night's forum in colorado focused mainly on the economy and other domestic issues. that debate took place at the university of denver, colorado being a big swing state in this election, as well. the focus of the debate was the economy. but big bird somehow got into the dialogue there. and, of course, as we mentioned, there were some polls that showed that romney came out ahead of the president on that first debate. bigad shaban joins us live from denver with some highlights from last night. arthur boulevard. then this morning, two more were killed on 72nd avenue. cbs 5 reporter elissa harrington is live in oakland where the family of one of the victims is speaking out. elissa. >> reporter: that's right. the family members want to remember this man as a father who worked the graveyard shift trying to get his g.e.d. to get a better life. you can see broken glass left behind from the latest shooting where two men were sitting inside a car when they were approached by somebody else on foot. >> my son was a good kid. he kind of like stayed to his self. >> reporter: family members robert dell, jr., tearfully looked through pictures of the 23-year-old with his 2-year-old son. >> i know he don't understand yet, but it's going to break my heart when he come over here and say, where my dad at? >> reporter: dell died one of four victims of gun violence in oakland overnight in three shootings. the latest happened around 6 a.m. on the 1600 block of 72nd avenue. dell and a friend were inside this minivan. >> the victims were inside the parked vehicle when they were approached by a suspect who was

. in sacramento, checkey bedford, cbs 5. >> checking bay area headlines, a suspect wanted for outstanding warrants tried to speed away when police spotted him today and crashed his car into a tree and ran. do nearby schools were locked down for a time and people at a nearby church were told to stay inside. the suspect was eventually arrested. >> and albany middle school teacher was arrested this morning for having an inappropriate relationship with a student the sixth grade teacher and basketball coach was booked on suspicion of lewd acts with a child under 14. the school contacted police after receiving a complaint on monday. >> the occupied camp outside of the federal reserve on market street in san francisco has been taken down. police moved in last night and cleared everyone out. occupied protesters had been warned for weeks that it would happen if they did not leave. dozens were arrested, cited, and released. >> in november california voters will consider to measures to raise taxes for education. the governors proposition 30 is competing with proposition 38. which one is better for the school
